Uniqlo

Uniqlo, the Japanese high street fashion retailer required designs for numerous campaigns, creating exciting window graphics and displays to promote their latest clothing ranges. Not only were retail solutions realised, but also a wide variety of projects to help Uniqlo become the popular brand that they are.
To celebrate the 2012 Olympic games happening in Stratford, Uniqlo needed something eye-catching in their Westfield store. The solution was to make bespoke cannons that would blow around colourful confetti inside their large glass enclosure. This exciting display gave Uniqlo’s windows movement, standing out from other static displays in the Westfield shopping centre. Alongside this, a giant three-dimensional Uniqlo gold medal was made to hang from the 7 metre ceiling in the glass enclosure.
Uniqlo +J The brief from Uniqlo was to create graphics for their +J launch – the much anticipated range by Jil Sander. An eye-catching teaser countdown was created, resulting in large queues outside its flagship store on Oxford Street, revealing the large format product photography. Alongside this, postcards, look books and in-store signage were produced, all adhering to the set photography style.
Campaign Collateral With every campaign a series of printed promotional materials are produced to support the product launches and in-store environmental graphics. Below are examples of flyers supporting the UJ and Orla Kiely ranges.
Colour Campaign Following the successful sale campaign, Uniqlo needed to inject some colour and impact into all their stores. Using the pastel colour palette of the current collection, bespoke perspex circles were produced as well as designed vinyls to complement them graphically. The campaign was rolled out across all of Uniqlo’s major London stores.
Uniqlo x Celia Birtwell Celia Birtwell, the British textile designer collaborated with Uniqlo for an upcoming clothing collection. The task was to turn Uniqlo’s press room into an exhibition style space showing sketches, information, patterns and garments from the exciting collaboration.
